Starting point
Edenlab is a healthcare data analytics and interoperability software development company, building FHIR-based data platforms, integrations, and analytics solutions for healthcare organizations worldwide.
To create this healthcare company AEO/GEO case study, we partnered with Edenlab starting in May 2025. Applying GrowPad Trajectory methodology to build organic SEO from the ground up.
Project overview
Client: Edenlab
Region: Worldwide
Industry: Healthcare data analytics & interoperability software development
Project duration: May 2025 – June 2026
Project goals
– Generate B2B SQLs
– Build a technical and content SEO foundation from scratch
– Establish steady organic growth across priority healthcare-analytics topics
– Create visibility into AI/LLM answer engines (LLMO/GEO) as buyer research shifted toward AI tools
Case study challenges & solutions
Before GrowPad, Edenlab had no structured SEO strategy. As buyer research increasingly moved into AI search over the past year, GrowPad identified a second starting point on top of the first: even as traditional SEO gained traction, Edenlab had no strategy for how AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews described or recommended healthcare analytics vendors.
Key constraints:
– No pre-existing SEO foundation or content structure to build on
– A niche, technical audience where credibility signals matter more than generic keyword volume
– A crowded, well-funded competitive set in healthcare data analytics, against a relatively small SEO budget
– AI-answer visibility is a newer, less-understood channel with far fewer established playbooks than traditional SEO
Before GrowPad
With GrowPad
Want to be the next AI visibility case study in the healthcare niche?
Step 1
Building SEO credibility from zero in a healthcare B2B vertical
Edenlab’s category is technical and credibility-dependent, and the company had no structured SEO to build on.
Our solution: Trajectory methodology KPI framework across priority topics
- GrowPad diagnosed Edenlab’s priority topics: Healthcare Data & Analytics, FHIR Solutions Development, Healthcare Integrations, Data Migration, Healthcare IT Consulting Services, and others
- Following its Trajectory methodology, GrowPad built a structured KPI framework across these topics before layering in content and link building
- Reviewed and adjusted priorities month over month against that framework rather than spreading effort evenly
Result:
Steady, compounding position gains across priority pages including Healthcare Integrations reaching its TOP-5 target and Data Migration nearly reaching its TOP-10 target.

Step 2
Traditional SEO gains don't guarantee visibility in the AI answers buyers now use for vendor research
Even as Edenlab’s rankings improved, there was no way to know whether the company was showing up in the AI answers that a growing share of B2B buyers now consult first.
Our solution: Dedicated LLMO/GEO workstream built on Trajectory methodology
- Over the past 3-4 months, GrowPad extended its Trajectory methodology into the AI visibility space
- Tracked Edenlab’s presence across 27 prompts relevant to healthcare data analytics buyers
- Ran listicle outreach, link building, and content work aimed specifically at AI citation
- Closed prompt-level gaps where competitors like ScienceSoft were cited but Edenlab wasn’t
Result:
Brand Coverage in AI answers grew roughly 7x in a single quarter (from ~5% to 34-36%), with Edenlab holding the top average position when mentioned and appearing in 22 of 27 tracked prompts.

Step 3
Competing in a crowded, well-funded healthcare SEO niche on a relatively small SEO budget
Healthcare data analytics is a competitive category, with larger, well-resourced platforms and analytics vendors investing heavily in SEO and content. Edenlab needed to compete for the same priority topics without matching that scale of spend.
Our solution: Prioritized budget allocation using Trajectory methodology, not broad-spectrum spending
- Rather than spreading a limited budget thinly across many topics, GrowPad concentrated effort on Edenlab’s highest-value priority topics first, per its Trajectory methodology
- Sequenced budget toward the topics closest to their KPI targets, reallocating month to month as positions moved rather than running broad, unfocused campaigns
- Favored high-leverage tactics (targeted content, prioritized link placements) over volume-based tactics that would have diluted a smaller budget
Result:
Several priority pages reached strong positions: Healthcare Integrations at position 2, Data Migration at position 10, Analytics Product Development at position 6. Despite competing against better-funded players in the space, evidence that focused prioritization can outperform broad budget in a crowded niche.
Step 4
Specific high-value AI answer gaps remained even as overall AI visibility grew
GrowPad’s monthly AI-visibility reporting identified two distinct gaps behind the headline Brand Coverage numbers: as of March 2026, Edenlab was completely absent from 5 tracked prompts covering adjacent high-value topics (population health, clinical research/RWE, value-based care, and remote patient monitoring), and separately, Edenlab had zero presence in Bing/Copilot AI Overviews across the entire quarter, even as visibility in other engines grew.
Our solution: Treating prompt-level and engine-level gaps as separate, trackable problems
- GrowPad’s Trajectory methodology broke the AI visibility gap into two distinct workstreams rather than folding both into the general “more content” work
- For the missing prompt topics, prioritized content and external signals (listicles, directories, PR, LinkedIn Pulse) aimed specifically at those topics
- For the Bing/Copilot gap, flagged Bing Webmaster Tools and its AI Performance report as the next concrete step to start closing engine-level absence specifically
Result:
Both gaps are identified, quantified, and prioritized for the next work cycle rather than left as an unexamined blind spot in the headline Brand Coverage number. This is an honest in-progress item, not yet a closed gap, since Bing/Copilot presence was still at 0% as of the most recent report.
Case study key results
Tracked May 2025 – June 2026 (SEO: Ahrefs / GSC / SE Ranking; AI visibility: Otterly.ai, Jan-June 2026)

What to apply
GrowPad’s Trajectory methodology put 10+ months of structured technical and content SEO work under Edenlab’s AI visibility gains. GEO isn’t a replacement for that foundation, it’s a layer GrowPad builds on top of SEO.
Edenlab reached strong positions on several priority topics on a relatively small SEO budget by concentrating effort where it mattered most, rather than spreading spend thin across a crowded field.
Brand Coverage and average AI answer position moved independently of, and faster than, traditional organic rankings during this engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How did Edenlab improve its AI visibility as a healthcare analytics development company?
GrowPad first applied its Trajectory methodology to build Edenlab’s SEO from scratch, then layered in a dedicated AEO/GEO workstream over the following 3-4 months. Tracking AI mentions, closing prompt-level gaps against named competitors, and growing Brand Coverage from about 5% to 34-36% in a single quarter.
2. How long does it take to see AI visibility results for a B2B healthcare SaaS or tech company?
In Edenlab’s case, Brand Coverage moved from roughly 5% to 34-36% within a single quarter of dedicated GEO/SEO work under GrowPad’s Trajectory methodology. Though this followed 10+ months of prior SEO foundation building, which likely accelerated the AI visibility gains.
3. What’s the difference between traditional SEO and AEO/GEO?
Traditional SEO focuses on ranking pages in search engine results. AEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) focuses on how AI engines summarize, cite, and recommend a healthcare brand within generated answers.
4. Can a healthcare company build strong AI visibility without first having SEO?
Based on this engagement, a real SEO foundation appears to help: Edenlab’s AI visibility gains came after 10+ months of GrowPad’s structured SEO work, not before it, suggesting the two are complementary rather than substitutes.
